Divination isn’t just (or even primarily) about external quests and relationships, so much as it is about the internal dialogues, decisions, and dichotomies within a single Hero. This Hero isn’t controlled by one player, but shared by four, with each player embodying an inner Aspect of the Hero as drawn from archetypal figures of the tarot.
The result is a profound exploration of internal conversations, struggles, and resolutions, all while your Hero navigates a world they discover is much more dangerous and awesome than they ever could have imagined.
For those with no prior knowledge of tarot, the game will smoothly and almost sneakily teach you the basics as you play. And for those with an existing tarot practice, you’ll find depth and richness throughout that will enhance your relationship with both the game and the cards.
