Gen Con 2025 Diviners - Night Goddess Games

Run Divination at Gen Con and earn a free four-day badge!

Night Goddess Games is seeking several Diviners (i.e. GMs) to run Divination RPG at Gen Con 2025 in exchange for a free four-day badge (or full reimbursement if you have already purchased one).

To be considered, you must be available to run two 4-hour sessions, plus perform one additional small task for us such as:

serve as alternate for one additional session*
scan badges at your sessions or at one of our other events
transport the materials to/from your session

* FWIW, this is our sixth year running Divination at Gen Con and we’ve never needed to call upon the services of an alternate Diviner.

No previous experience is required with Divination RPG or with tarot to submit for this opportunity. We will provide all table materials for your session (including a tarot deck), and will send out game rules and preparation materials well in advance of Gen Con.

Running a game in a convention setting has some unique considerations such as time limits, teaching the game as you play, managing strangers of all personalities, etc. In order for us to best prepare you, it helps to know if you have experience in this area.

Sessions(Required)

Below are the sessions we are running. Each Diviner will be assigned to two sessions (and not more than one session per day unless you specifically want that). To begin with, check any and all sessions you would be willing be assigned to.

Out of the sessions you chose above, let us know here if you have any preferences (such as your first and second choice time slots, whether you want to run two games in one day, etc). We’ll do our absolute best to assign folks to their top choices, but we also need to balance and make sure all games are covered.

Additional responsibilities(Required)

In order to qualify for a free Gen Con badge, we are asking each Diviner to help us out with some other event responsibilities in addition to running your two sessions. Each Diviner will be assigned to ONLY ONE of the following. Please choose any and all you would be willing to be considered for.
